Originally from Coatzacoalcos, Mexico, Hercy fell in love with dance at the age of 6 when she started taking Mexican Folklore dance classes. Later on, Hercy’s dance journey continued across borders when she moved to Canada; there, she joined a local Mexican Folkloric dance group called Tierra del Sol. They danced together for 5 years. One of Hercy’s best experiences with them was their performance at the Orpheum Theatre with one of Mexico’s best Mariachi bands. Hercy loves dancing because it’s the easiest way for her to express herself. It’s just that feeling of being free; that she can do anything! Hercy uses dance to show the world a little piece of herself — and making others around her happy by sharing her passion. She would love to share her dance passion with everybody!!
